Lige Daughtridge is a lifelong Rocky Mount resident. Since 2019, he has represented Ward 5 on the Rocky Mount City Council and serves on several boards, including representing the city on the North Carolina Eastern Municipal Electric Power Agency (NCEMPA). He, his wife, Annie, and their two children are active members of the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Rocky Mount.
