Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts in K-8 Education from Marshall University and his master's degree from West Virginia University in Communication Studies.
He worked for 30 years in the school systems in Nash and Edgecombe counties starting his career as a math and science teacher before spending his last 10 years as a digital teaching and learning specialist.
Kevin is a Work-Based Learning Liaison at STEP focusing on creating or expanding relationships between education institutions, business and industry, and economic development in the Twin-Counties region to promote work-based learning opportunities. Through job-shadowing, internships, and apprenticeships Kevin acts as a connector between employers and education.
